Lord-of-the-Flies Situation

Currently, as of 2020, as the dearth of interesting news goes, I think people are madly rushing to the highest positions of arts and culture institutions. There was recently a large lack of new developments and trends this past decade that I'm thinking, certain artists are taking advantage of absolutely any new products and markets that they create intense competition for even things that are small and un-"studied".

Arts institutions like Fine Arts schools as well as musical orchestras are experiencing gluts - with teachers lacking any new blood from their students, freshmen act as if they are just learning about art for the first time.

The world outside of these institutions is like an intensely boring place with buildings the empty shade of grey, hospitals clinically white, and schools missing out on fun in most places. I think the trend is to make art for the masses, and not art still-for-the-elite in 2020.

Is art hard? Does art need formal education all the time, or are doodle artists real? Are your scribbles art as well? You don't have to work for an expensive fee if you're just interested in art. Why doesn't art go more public?

Art is a subject in every school. Every building, whether townhouses, mansions, apartment complexes or just an ordinary house is art too. If these ordinary abodes aren't art, then, are they not allowed to have art?

There are not enough slots in art schools and there isn't an art program in every school. However, everything has art. School notebooks have art. Pencils have fine flourishings and different designs as well.

All food packagings have design. But have the designers behind these products been seen at art school? I think they are also able to produce art like that at home. Perhaps they were self-taught. Short art workshops and courses are available as well.

How do they keep this underground world of design going? It could be a small world, or there are truly many successful artists out there who were never enrolled at art school.

I think there are many positions to fill in the art world - especially in this given underground world. Not everyone needs to be a top designer or high-selling painter. An average person can make it as an artist, and not always a rich kid.
