i still like malls.
why i like malls:
- they have aircon
- the walls give me privacy
- the privacy gives me freedom
- it is actually affordable for me.
my financial life cycle is like this:
>i find a bunch of coins like 1PHP, 5PHP, 10PHP on the computer table.
>i just gather up the coins. in one day i will have 15 PHP. on the next day i'll have 30PHP. on the following day i will have 46 PHP. on the next day i will have 57 PHP.
>i realize that i can already buy a brand-new (well, a clean copy) of a book from Booksale. the nearest Booksale branch is in the local mall. just 1 ride away.
>with my knowledge from (window shopping) and browsing through Goodreads, i am simply able to select a good and worthwhile book. it just works. it's always something i like.
>sometimes i just choose a book with my eyes. i choose a book with an aesthetic cover design.
>i slam my 57PHP on the cash register and walk out with a great book. again.
>they say hey it only costs 50PHP.
>so i walk to the mini-McDonald's and use my 7PHP to buy a small sundae cone.
>i think malls are wise.
