The story of how I got into books!

I wasn't into reading when I was a child, unless my parents bought me story books. I knew of children who read full-length novels in elementary school but I guess I didn't fit into the smarts bill or the enthusiasm bill or just the self-belief bill either.

Our family had a great number of books, a library even. But I just couldn't get into all the classics or the other assortment of nonfiction and fiction books my parents had, because I couldn't relate to themes of love and other grown-up things. I wanted to enjoy being a child first.

Having nothing to do, I picked up some art books and had a subject to call my own. However, I didn't have a meatier topic to study...

Later, I found a really interesting book called "Art in China" (by Oxford) and it's kind of all that really mattered to me. :P

I just read Young Adult books in school and read school textbooks and listened to lectures and had fun.

Until I went to college and ate all the readings about the Philippines and learned Asian languages for fun then learned how to write. I also drew and made films for school projects and also got to do graphic design sometime too. One peculiar thing i noticed was that no one was motivated in school so I went out and looked for motivation online and just got motivation articles. I powered through school work and my studies. One problem that they said about me was that I didn't share my motivation articles with anyone to which I replied, no one wanted to work hard. They just want to sit and look pretty. They want to work in school and the office but they don't want to do dirty work. So why should I share my motivation if all it says is to work hard, perspire, sweat and bleed for your goals and I think no off-handedly distracted hot-blonde-type likes that. >:(

So basically, based on novels assigned for required reading, I bought my own set of books and that's just the story of how I got my own library. It includes literary fiction and classics.

An art mission (clouds could crowd.)

I wish I was a cloud. I wish I could float through life and not worry about a thing. I wish I could meet nice people and I hope to have a clean record and be in good standing with the government. I like experimental things and I hope I could make art with cheap materials and drawing mistakes. Yay.

Let me talk about myself for a minute. I like the world. I like instant noodles. I like the author James Joyce, while also liking Jane Austen. I'm in love with the sky and different formations of clouds. I love fanning myself in the morning and taking breakfast with coffee. I like reading classics and I think I'll take a gander and read all of them.

My favorite website (aside from Blogspot) is Goodnight Journal, where I sit down and write private prayers and generally take off all of my stress.

I'm a writer by profession, and being an artist is my side job.

I'm an interesting person I think. I wish for everyone to have a shot at education and reach the tertiary level, hopefully. I also want to be a teacher. I hope to volunteer at the non-profit Silid-Aralan, where I would teach for free.

Willie is happy in life.

It's extremely hard to be Willie. I'm guessing, if for Anita, nothing is ever recompensed, what more for someone who holds everything together in life? Willie decided to become a clown one day and just declare himself "happy" for any reason he may wish. At the same time, Anita is just off in Mary-Feather land acting like a good, straight citizen. For some reason, the only that everyone needs is a universal guide to their goals.

I just thought of this right now:

If I want a certain secularist professor I have to get off my back, and just transfer that person to the other side of the universe, I will have to think of the universe in the terms of the modern bourgeoisie:

Coordinates for a modern overman

Stage of life - top-down position
Levels of love (attractiveness) - left-right position

If I want the professor to transfer to the far right and the far top, I will first position myself on the plane. I am at rock bottom, and I love several "boring" people and some several weird people, so I will just say, I'm in with the outcasts. I'll position my professor: She's in the middle stage of her life and she just loves one person. She's in with a small group of middle-life people, among the good people of the universe. So if she's to transfer to the far top and far right among the good people, I'm supposed to keep out of her way and make magic for the while so that she knows how to love and finally becomes a chef for a living. So, in practice, I'm going to buy assorted cupcakes and assorted tuna meals...

An update

Kung bata kang magaan ang trabaho, ikaw na rin talaga ang breadwinner. Kasi lahat sila daw walang trabaho.

This picture was drawn by me. It's me and my things.

Time check

Today, Annie Ramo wants to go out.
So I will just stay in.
I'm just going to go read a book for today.

------------------------

I'm just going to go on a journey to get my stay-at-home job. I will just educate myself and try to look for a job online. Just writing articles. I've never realized how much I'm grateful for my chosen occupation, because I love it.

What do you do if you have nothing to do? I say, you work. Get a job. But if that makes you feel like being lazy instead, then, well, I'm just going off to my starfish rock and will just have a work-at-home job.
